Bob Bolus, Sr., owner of Bolus Truck Parts and Towing, is proud to announce his 30th Annual Christmas Day Dinner which will be held at St. Patrick’s Church in Scranton, Pennsylvania from 12 – 6 p.m.

Bolus welcomes all who want to attend, as the annual event now serves nearly 4000 dinners, 600 of which are delivered to families in the community. He promises there will be plenty of food (to take home as well) amidst the day’s comradery and festivities.

The event has evolved since its inception 30 years ago, when Bolus noted that he was stuck with a palette of turkeys that none of the stores would take. Bolus took it upon himself to feed the community with those left-over turkeys through his church, and the event has continued to grow.

Bolus, who plans on spending the day in the kitchen carving up turkeys, said, “It’s all about giving of yourself and putting people first on the most important day of the year. For me, it’s an opportunity to give back. I know that the towing community shares in this spirit.”
